PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man conveyor that saves an installation space by installing a lateral swing suppressing mechanism part for a truss below the truss, facilitates construction of an exterior panel for the truss, and suppresses a decrease in design performance.SOLUTION: A lateral swing suppressing mechanism 10 includes: a truss-side frame 11 which is fixed to an under surface of a truss 4 and includes, as a lower surface, a horizontal truss-side slide surface 11a extending along the width direction of the truss 4; a support table 12 fixed to a building intermediate support skeleton 7 opposite to the truss-side frame 11; a pair of cradles 13 which have horizontal skeleton-side slide surfaces 13a, are fixed to the support table 12 so that the truss-side slide surface 11a is placed on the skeleton-side slide surface 13a, and support the truss-side frame 11 slidably; and a pair of hydraulic damper units 16 with springs which are interposed between the truss-side frame 11 and support table 12, and energize the truss-side frame 11 to return it to the width-directional center when the truss-side frame 11 slides and moves along the width direction. |
