The present invention relates to a rainfall detection apparatus and, more particularly, to a rainfall detection apparatus which signals a rainfall start signal by receiving rainwater through an inlet of a main body during raining in order to detect rainfall such as rain and snow, a detecting rod is raised by the increasing water level inside the main body, and a lead switch is not in contact with a magnet, and which signals a rainfall end signal by draining the rainwater in the main body during the end of raining and the lead switch is in contact with the magnet, as well as to a drainage control system using the same. Therefore, a rainfall detection apparatus and a drainage control system using the same comprise a main body in an empty box shape which has an inlet for receiving rainwater during raining on one side, has an outlet for draining the received rainwater on the other side, and has a magnet at the top; and a rainfall detecting unit composed of a floating member which floats on the surface of the received rainwater by being included in the inside thereof, and a detecting rod including a lead switch which is connected to the top of the floating member in order to signal a rainfall start or end signal when being in contact with the magnetic on a guide groove or when not being in contact with the magnetic. |
