[Class 44.] A safe is secured to a floor by provision of a baseplate secured to the floor and to the bottom of the safe by means inaccessible when the safe is in position and closed. As shown the bottom of the safe a is provided with lugs b and holes c, and a baseplate d having an upstanding rim e to receive the bottom of the safe has portions f recessed to receive lugs b, and bosses m with tapped holes j which register with the: holes c. The plate d is secured to the floor by screws, not shown, passing through slots g, the safe, when in place, covering, the heads of the screws. The lugs b are engaged in the recesses f and the safe is secured by screws passed from inside the safe through the holes c into holes j. |
