PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: as a binder resin of a charge transporting layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor, a polyarylate resin is useful as means for improving surface mechanical characteristics of a photoreceptor; however, a polyarylate resin generally has insufficient electrical characteristics as compared with a polycarbonate resin; so that a photoreceptor is needed that suppresses optical fatigue, and has small potential variation immediately after exposure of external light.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor having a laminated-type photosensitive layer contains a specific electron transporting material and a hole transporting material, in addition to a polyarylate resin, in a charge transporting layer.
