PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a red coloring composition for a color filter which can be used for the color filter of a display device equipped with a white organic EL light source, and has high coloring power and high luminance with well balance even when coating film thickness is thin.SOLUTION: A red coloring composition for a color filter contains a color pigment, a pigment dispersion aid, a pigment dispersant, a transparent resin and an organic solvent. The color pigment contains C.I. pigment red 208, C.I. pigment red 177 and/or C.I. pigment red 179 and is used for the color filter of a display device equipped with a white organic EL light source. |
