PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device that allows checking the mounted orientation from the appearance, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The semiconductor light-emitting device includes: a light-emitting layer; a first conductor connected to a first semiconductor layer of the light-emitting layer; a second conductor connected to a second semiconductor layer of the light-emitting layer; a first resin body covering the light-emitting layer, the first conductor, and the second conductor; and a second resin body exposed on a side surface, spaced apart from the light-emitting layer, the first conductor, and the second conductor by the first resin body, having a color different from the first resin body, and unsymmetrically disposed with respect to a direction from the first conductor to the second conductor. |
