PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator that can have a function of mechanically stopping a car from moving up or down with a door open at low cost through simple constitution.SOLUTION: An outdoor elevator includes a car-side cover 8a, a horizontal cam 8f, a roll 10a, and a hall-side cover 7a, and rotates the car-side cover 8a around a pin 8b by making the roll 10a on the horizontal cam 8f as a car-side door 4 is opened so as to let a gutter 8e of the car-side cover 8a face the interior of a recessed part 7b of the hall-side cover 7a. |
