PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely protect an optical fiber cable by preventing a protection boot from unexpectedly falling.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable 11 with a connector includes a crimp ring 51 fixing a connection state between an optical fiber cable 31 and a ferrule 41, a connector housing 61 having a holding hole 62 for holding a part of the optical fiber cable 31, to which the ferrule 41 is connected, on the side of the ferrule 41, and a protection boot 81 covering the region of the optical fiber cable 31 on the side of the connector housing 61. A held part 83 which houses the whole crimp ring 51 held in the connector housing 61 is formed at a tip side part of the protection boot 81, a lock edge 86 projecting to an inner peripheral side to be locked to a tip surface of the crimp ring 51 is formed atop of the held part 83, and an outer peripheral surface of the part of the lock edge 86 is covered with an inner peripheral surface of the holding hole 62 of the connector housing 61 to restrict the lock edge 86 from being unlocked. |
