PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operation truly along a weld line; to keep a distance between a welding torch and the weld line constant; to also enable the supply of a welding wire as needed; and to enable welding between pipe materials and welding between the pipe material and an accessory component such as an elbow and a cheese.SOLUTION: A body part 20, which fixes a torch holding member 10 for holding a welding torch 1 for TIG welding, can hold a pipe material 100 by upper and lower sleeve parts 33 and 34 of a body guide member 30 attached to the body part 20. More specifically, a user can use it only in the moving direction of the torch holding member 10 for holding the welding torch 1, that is to say, along a weld line only in a rotational direction, or in such a manner as to give consideration to weaving and the like centering on the weld line. Since an interval between the welding torch 1 and a base material important for the welding is also maintained, the user has only to concentrate on the movement. Consequently, even the user except an experienced person can perform the better welding. |
