Treating a gas containing nitrogen oxide which generates a reduction reaction of nitrogen oxide by a nitrogenized reducing agent used in this reduction reaction catalyst system containing a composition comprising zirconium, cerium and niobium with cerium oxide (5-50 wt.%), niobium oxide (5-20 wt.%) and zirconium oxide, is claimed, where the balance is in an extruded form.
