The tool has a lower punch (2) for receiving a stamped sheet metal part, and a shaping blade (24) designed to be actuated by an upper frame of a press (8) to shear contour of a part to form a sheet metal scrap. A swiveling hook (12) is arranged with the blade in a descending manner, and includes a return unit i.e. spring (14), for returning the hook to a rest position. The hook is retracted to pass below an edge of the scrap at the time of descent of the blade. The hook is maintained by the spring resting against a rear thrust (16).
