The method involves establishing a radio connection with a global system for mobile communication (GSM) network (2) or General packet radio service (GPRS) network (3) by a mobile equipment (1) to transmit a series of audit information e.g. quality of signal, error rate and basic station cell identifier, toward a carrier selection as a service (CASAAS) server (5). The information is checked, and a procedure for modifying the selection of a network i.e. public land mobile network, to which the equipment is connected, is inserted in case of anomaly.
