The present invention relates to an apparatus for driving a wiper of a vehicle by using eyes of a driver and a method thereof. The apparatus for driving a wiper of a vehicle by using eyes of a driver and the method thereof are capable of securing a sight of a driver by driving a wiper by adapting the wiper for the amount of rainfall and the amount of snowfall since the wiper is driven when the eyes of the driver focus on a windshield of the vehicle by tracing the eyes of the driver by using 3D eye tracer technique. The apparatus for driving a wiper of a vehicle by using eyes of a driver comprises: an eye tracking part for tracking eyes of a driver; a controlling part for controlling a wiper driving part to drive the wiper when the eyes of the driver tracked by the eye tracking part focus on a windshield of the vehicle; and the wiper driving part for driving the wiper under the control of the controlling part.
