A catalyst monitoring misdiagnosis prevention method by the blood-jump delay learning is provided to heighten stability and reliability of the diagnostic of deterioration of catalyst. A catalyst monitoring misdiagnosis prevention method by the blood-jump delay learning is as follows. When the front back oxygen sensor is operated as normally, the signal average value of the front back oxygen sensor is produced(S409). The deterioration index is produced on the signal average value(S411). The deterioration index reflection rate of the P-Jump delay is produced and the catalytic deactivation index is amended(S413). |
