Method for controlling and validating depollution agent i.e. Adblue, using in pollution control system of hybrid propulsion car, involves measuring refraction index of depollution agent, and comparing measured index with threshold index

The method involves measuring a refraction index (Ir) of a remaining quantity of a depollution agent i.e. Adblue (RTM: Diesel exhaust fluid) in a pollution control system. The measured refraction index is compared with a threshold refraction index given in graphs, where the threshold refraction index represents a maximum or minimal value for which the depollution agent is regarded as inapt to fill the depollution action, and the first threshold refraction index (Sir1) corresponds to a parameter (D) of the depollution agent representative of the ageing of the depollution agent. An independent claim is also included for a method for review of a pollution control system of a car.
