The device (10) has a bearing surface (15) that is arranged in a flat manner. A bottom wall (16) of a planar housing (12) of a seat belt retractor (11) rests on the bearing surface. The bearing surface is arranged in a horizontal plane (P1). A fixing circular opening (17) is arranged in the planar housing. A set of blocking openings (20, 21) is arranged for blocking rotation of the housing with regard to the support device in a vertical axis (Z) that is approximately perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the bearing surface. The blocking openings are in circular, oblong or rectangular form.
