PURPOSE: A complex friction damper capable of gradually damping the change of building load is provided to absorb and reduce the load of deformation in transverse and longitudinal directions by interlocking plates which have different frictional force from each other. CONSTITUTION: A complex friction damper capable of gradually damping the change of building load includes first and second fixing plates (11,12), first and second interlocking plates (21,22), first and second links (31,32), and a third link (4). The first and second fixing plates are connected to an object to be mounted, the first and second plates are inserted into the center of the first and second plates. The first and second links connect the first and second fixing plates and the first and second interlocking plates. |
