The equipment (1) has a ventilation unit (2) attached with a heat exchanger, and producing a wind flow (20) during operation. An energy recovery unit (4) comprises a propeller (40) placed in the wind flow produced by the ventilation unit. The propeller is coupled with an electrical current generator (41) for supplying electrical current to a rechargeable battery (6) via a voltage regulator (5). A drain unit (3) is placed at an exit of the ventilation unit for outputting the wind flow, and includes a truncated-shape passage chamber (30) converging in a direction of the propeller. An independent claim is also included for a method for recovering wind energy from a thermoregulation equipment.
