According to the embodiment of the present invention is a dental x-ray detector assembly providing an x-ray detection signal to the main body of an x-ray imaging apparatus. The dental x-ray detector assembly includes an x-ray irradiation unit arranged to emit an x-ray towards a set of teeth in the mouth of a patient; an approach unit fixed to face the x-ray irradiation direction of the x-ray irradiation unit to move a x-ray detection unit for detecting the x-ray to the face of the patient; and a support unit supporting a first shaft extended to the x-ray irradiation unit and a second shaft extended to the approach unit and mechanically combined with a connection unit and the main body of an x-ray imaging apparatus.
