PURPOSE: An electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery is provided to reduce side reaction caused by active materials and electrolyte by including triphenylphosphorane compounds, thereby improving the lifetime of the lithium secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: An electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery includes a triphenylphosphorane compound represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R is N-R^1 or CR^1r^2. In chemical formula 1, each of R^1 and R^2 is one selected from H, C1-10 saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon, CN, CHO, COCH3, COCO2C2H5, CO2CH3, and Si (CH3)3. A lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode, negative electrode, a separator between the positive electrode and negative electrode, and an electrolyte added between the positive electrode and negative electrode. |
