PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the switch operation for switching the demodulation/reproduction of a sound signal and the display update processing of a spectrum scope is troublesome, in a wireless receiver consisting only of a single reception circuit.SOLUTION: Pulses from the rotary encoder of a frequency change dial are counted, the sound signal of reception frequency is demodulated and reproduced if the count is smaller than a threshold (S1, S2, S6, S7→S1), otherwise demodulation and reproduction of the sound signal is stopped, and display update processing of a spectrum scope is performed by sweeping the frequency range thereof (S1, S2, S6-S9). Demodulation and reproduction of the sound signal is also stopped, and display update processing of a spectrum scope is performed when the frequency change dial is not operated for a certain time (S1-S5→S1). Since automatic switching is performed adaptively depending on the changing speed of reception frequency, the operability is enhanced. |
