Provided are a method and system for controlling hard disk power-on in a hard disk array. The method comprises: detecting an output current of a power source module in real time; comparing the output current with a set first threshold; when the output current is smaller than the set first threshold, powering on various hard disks in a hard disk array in sequence using a preset first time interval; when the output current is greater than the set first threshold, comparing the output current with a set second threshold; and when the output current is greater than or equal to the first threshold and is smaller than the second threshold, powering on various hard disks in sequence using a preset second time interval, the second threshold being greater than the first threshold, and the second time interval being greater than the first time interval. The embodiments of the present invention can control a power-on impact current to not go beyond the power output limit when a hard disk array is powered on, and also enable the power-on time of the whole hard disk array to be shorter. |
