A power supply circuit (1) is configured to be provided with a booster circuit (4), a bypass switch (15), and a control circuit (13). At a predetermined timing under normal conditions, the control circuit (13) controls the drive of a boosting switching element (6) such that the output voltage of the booster circuit (4) becomes the input voltage of the booster circuit (4) before the predetermined timing after bringing the bypass switch (15) into a normally-off state, and when controlling the drive of the boosting switching element (6) such that the output voltage of the booster circuit (4) becomes the input voltage of the booster circuit (4) before the predetermined timing, detects a current detected by a current detection circuit (14) as a bypass current flowing to the bypass switch (15). |
