PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting unit configured to hold an LED with a pair of bus bars so as not to interfere with a light-emitting part of the LED, and to stably connect LED electrodes with the pair of bus bars.SOLUTION: An LED lighting unit 1 includes an LED 41, a housing 20 storing the LED 41, and a pair of bus bars 50 that forms a conductive path when in contact with LED electrodes 41d and fixes the LED 41 in the housing 20. The LED 41 has a light-emitting part 41a provided on a top surface 41b. On side surfaces 41c, the LED electrodes 41d are disposed. The pair of bus bars 50 includes: an LED holding part 51 that holds both side surfaces 41c of the LED 41 so as to bring the bus bars 50 into contact with the LED electrodes 41d; and a pair of Zener diode pressure contact part 52 where Zener diode electrodes 42b are brought into pressure contact with each other so that a Zener diode 42 connects the pair of bus bars 50 which clamps the LED 41. |
