The sensor (10) has a heating element (16) that heats a flowing medium, where temperature detection of the medium is performed at two spatially separated measurement points. Temperature measurement is performed by a meandering strip conductor (17) consisting of different sections alternately arranged one after metals. Temperature difference between meander ends (17x) is generated due to Seebeck effect, and voltage is measured based on flow velocity of the medium.
