The method involves coupling article element (5) to the region of recess (3) in the metal sheet (11) of bodywork portion (2). A pull tool (8) is coupled to the article element, so that the recess is removed from the metal sheet by the vertical force acting on the article element. The article element is connected immediately with transparent film (1) which is secured to the recess of the metal sheet. The transparent film is made of polyurethane. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) repair kit for removing recess from metal sheet of bodywork portion of vehicle; and (2) film for use in repair kit.
