The hood has a fixed hood part (2) and a movable hood part (3), which is height adjustable in a telescopic manner, and pulley forming units (20) provided for height adjusting of the movable hood part. Each unit has a pneumatic spring (22) for holding the movable hood part in a lifted position, where the units are arranged opposite to each other. Each spring is fastened at an upper cover part (2a) of the fixed hood part, and the units has an upper fixed roller (23) and a lower height adjustable roller (24), which is supported by a longitudinally adjustable part (22a) of the springs.
