PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vinyl polymer in which a metal complex that makes a transition metal of a group 8, a group 9, a group 10 or a 11 group of the periodic table as a central metal and a halogen used for living radical polymerization are efficiently removed, and high hydrosilylation reaction can be performed.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a vinyl polymer (b) in which the vinyl polymer having a halogen group obtained by living radical polymerization is performed by dehalogenation by being heated, is characterized in that the vinyl polymer (a) having the halogen group is heated in a polar solvent. |
