PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for granulating a sintering material capable of securing the strength of a granulated substance.SOLUTION: When either one or two selected from quicklime and slaked lime including 250 μm under by ≥50 mass% are added to a sintering material used for steel production, and granulation is performed in the presence of water, the pH of the granulated substance obtained by the granulation treatment is controlled to 11 to 12.6. Further, when either one or two selected from quicklime and slaked lime including 250 μm under by ≥50 mass% are added to a sintering material used for steel production, and kneading and granulation are performed in the presence of water, the pH value of the kneaded substance obtained by the kneading treatment or the granulated substance obtained by the granulation treatment is controlled to 11 to 12.6. |
