PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer semiconductor ceramic capacitor of a SrTiO-based grain-boundary-insulated type capable of obtaining excellent ESD resistance and excellent reliability even if electrostatic capacitance is low capacitance of about 1 nF.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a multilayer semiconductor ceramic capacitor includes steps of: manufacturing a calcined powder by mixing, crushing, and calcining an Sr compound, a Ti compound, and a doner compound; mixing an acceptor compound with the calcined power and manufacturing a thermal treatment powder by performing thermal treatment; manufacturing a ceramic green sheet from the thermal treatment power and forming a laminate by alternately laminating a conductive film mainly composed of Ni and the ceramic green sheet; and performing primary firing processing for the laminate under a reducing atmosphere and performing secondary firing processing for the laminate under an air atmosphere. The primary firing processing is held for a prescribed time at a temperature of 600 to 900°C before firing the laminate at the maximum firing temperature. |
