PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine device for improving versatility of an ECU for governing driving control of an engine and regeneration control of a DPF.SOLUTION: An engine device includes an engine, an exhaust emission control device arranged in an exhaust passage of the engine, and an ECU for controlling driving of the engine, and also includes a storage means for storing a general purpose regeneration program GPM for performing a regeneration mode to the exhaust emission control device and an exhaust orifice flag OUTSLT set in response to the existence of an exhaust orifice device for adjusting exhaust pressure of the engine. The ECU determines whether or not to operate the exhaust orifice device based on the exhaust orifice flag OUTSLT read out of the storage means when performing the general purpose regeneration program GPM. |
