PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pre-adjusting a sintering material capable of stably securing the strength of a granulated substance.SOLUTION: When a binder made of either one or two selected from quicklime and slaked lime including 250 μm under by ≥50 mass% is added to a sintering material used for steel production, and granulation is performed in the presence of water, the pH value of a granulated substance obtained by the granulation treatment is measured. Then, the addition amount of the binder is controlled in accordance with the measured value, and the pH value is adjusted to a pre-set value. Further, when a binder made of either one or two selected from quicklime and slaked lime including 250 μm under by ≥50 mass% is added to a sintering material used for steel production, and kneading and granulation are performed in the presence of water, the pH value of a kneaded substance obtained by the kneading treatment or the granulated substance obtained by the granulation treatment is measured. Then, either one or two of the addition amount of the binder and the impeller speed of a kneader used in the kneading is adjusted in accordance with the measured value, and the pH value is made into a pre-set value. |
