PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method and apparatus which collect and treat waste water discharged from an engine in cleaning operations performed on various types of aircraft engines.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises a frame structure. On the frame structure a support arm is pivotally mounted. An actuator arm is arranged to raise and lower the support arm between a horizontal transport position and an operative position forming an angle in the range of 0°< to <90° with respect to a horizontal direction. A liquid separation device is pivotally attached to the support arm so as to be movable around both a horizontal and a vertical axis.
