PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe in which the uniformity of ultrasonic beams in a lens direction is improved and the side lobe is reduced, in a simple way and with high reliability.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 1 according to an embodiment includes: a plurality of piezoelectric materials 161 arranged in a first direction; first electrodes 165 provided on the back sides of the respective piezoelectric materials 161; and second electrodes 181 provided on a flexible printed board 18, facing the first electrodes 165 and electrically connected thereto. In a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the area of a central portion 190 of the second electrode 181 is smaller than the area of an end portion 192 of the second electrode 181. |
