The prism member of the present invention has an incidence surface on which is arranged a terahertz-wave generating element for generating terahertz waves by incidence of a pump beam thereon, an arrangement part on which a measurement subject is arranged, an emission surface on which is arranged a terahertz-wave detecting element for detecting a correlation between a probe light and terahertz waves that are transmitted through the measurement subject in the arrangement part, a first optical surface for collimating or concentrating terahertz waves incident from the incidence surface toward the arrangement part, and a second optical surface for concentrating terahertz waves that pass through the arrangement part toward the emission surface, and the arrangement part comprises a recess that can be filled with a liquid in which the measurement subject is insoluble. |
