<p>The present invention relates to a handle for actuating a removable instrument formed by a rod (3) that is extended by an active zone (4), said rod (3) extending in a longitudinal direction OX. The handle (1) has a transverse insertion slot (5) that opens onto a face of the handle (1) and has a section corresponding to the section of the coupling zone of the rod (3) in order to allow said coupling zone (6) to be inserted by way of a movement in a direction OZ until it butts against the bottom of said transverse slot (5). The depth of the slot is greater than half the thickness of the handle. The handle (1) also has, on either side of said slot (5), two cavities (12, 16) that open respectively onto one and the other of the edges parallel to the mid-plane ZOX, one of said cavities opening out at the front surface of the handle, said cavities (12, 16) being designed to allow said rod to be introduced by way of a rotation with respect to the axis OZ of the coupling zone following introduction into said slot, and to block said rotation when the rod achieves an orientation parallel to the longitudinal axis OX.
