The device (1) has an insertion opening for cables (6) comprising a wire to schedule a cable end (13) and clamp the clamp end in a housing (20). The housing comprises a screwing unit (4) cooperating with an end unit (2). A holder unit holds a wire guide and is provided at the housing. A deflection device is provided at an outlet end of the holder unit. The deflection device is fixed to deflect the wire of the scheduled cable when mounting a photovoltaic system. The deflection device comprises a deflection unit (11) at the holder unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for shockproof scheduling and extension-safe clamping of a cable end of a cable at a cable end device.
