PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with excellent battery performance obtained by improving impregnation of the whole electrode body by optimizing impregnation of a heat-resistance porous layer and impregnation of a counter electrode.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a porous filler layer 95 including at least a filler composed of an inorganic material and a binding material is formed between at least one of a positive electrode 64 and a negative electrode 84, and a separator 92. A porosity A of an electrode mixture layer of an electrode facing the porous filler layer is 0.45 to 0.6. A porosity B of the porous filler layer is 0.52 to 0.65. The porosity A and the porosity B satisfy a relational expression of 0.7B≤A≤1.07B. |
