PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact lens having a central portion, an iris portion, and a peripheral portion disposed around the iris portion.SOLUTION: An effect band is disposed in or just outside an iris portion of a contact lens; and the effect band helps to provide the lens with a halo effect when the lens is worn on an eye.
