PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine device for mounting on a travelling vehicle which enables a particulate filter to be highly rigidly arranged in an engine as one of constituent components of the engine, which eliminates the need of exhaust gas countermeasure for each equipment such as the vehicle and can improve the versatility of the engine.SOLUTION: An engine device for mounting on a travelling vehicle is mounted on a travelling machine body 102 and covered with a bonnet 106, the engine device including a gas cleaning body 1 for cleaning an exhaust gas of an engine 70. The gas cleaning body 1 is arranged on the upper surface of the engine 70 and above an exhaust manifold 71 in such a way that the longitudinal direction of the gas cleaning body is along the axis line direction of an engine output shaft 74. An exhaust connection pipe 84 for communicating the gas cleaning body 1 with the exhaust manifold 71 is provided and the upper end side of the exhaust connection pipe 84 is connected to an exhaust gas inlet 16 of the gas cleaning body 1. |
