PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a seal function by restraining swelling of a locking section of a seal ring.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector comprises: a housing 10 having a hood section 15 in which a mating housing 40 is fitted; and a seal ring 30 mounted on an inner periphery of the hood section 15 and sealing a section between it and the mating housing 40. A locking section 35 formed to extend on an outer periphery of the seal ring 30 is fitted with a locking hole 22 opened on a peripheral wall 20 of the hood section 15, so as to prevent detachment of the seal ring 30. Projection restraining means 37 for restraining the locking section 35 from projecting from an opening on an outer surface of the locking hole 22 is provided between the locking section 35 of the seal ring 30 and the locking hole 22. |
