PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal air battery capable of efficiently removing a metal compound deposited in an electrolyte.SOLUTION: A metal air battery according to the present invention comprises at least one cell, and at least one deliquoring mechanism. The cell comprises an electrolyte tank for storing an electrolyte, a metal electrode provided in the electrolyte tank and serving as an anode and an air electrode serving as a cathode. The metal electrode is made of metal chemically changed to a deposit made of a metal compound together with a progress of a battery reaction in the electrolyte, and the deliquoring mechanism forms a deliquoring material of the metal compound by separating the electrolyte from the deposit containing the electrolyte. |
