摘要 Provided is a fuel-cell system capable of handling sudden load fluctuations, without reducing the life of the fuel-cell system and without wasting surplus power. The fuel-cell system is equipped with a power-generation unit (16), an acquisition unit (14) for acquiring power-cell information expressing the state of stored power in a storage cell (26), and a control unit (12) for, when the load power changes from a first load power to a second load power, selecting, on the basis of the power-cell information, either: a first control mode for causing the power-generation unit (16) to generate power without charging/discharging the storage cell (26), and supplying power from the power-generation unit (16) to the load (32); or a second control mode for causing the power-generation unit (16) to generate power in a manner such that the power-generation change rate, which is the change over time in the amount of power generated by the power-generation unit (16), is set to a smaller value than that of the first control mode, by charging/discharging the storage cell (26) so as to supply power from the storage cell (26) to the load (32), or charge the storage cell (26) with at least a portion of the power from the power-generation unit (16).
