PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse osmosis membrane filtration system capable of eliminating a biofilm.SOLUTION: A reverse osmosis membrane filtration system includes: a reverse osmosis membrane treatment means 8 having a reverse osmosis membrane for producing fresh water by filtering taken seawater; a pH adjusting agent injection means 9 for injecting a pH adjusting agent for adjusting a pH of the taken seawater into the taken seawater at a position in front of where the taken seawater is supplied to the reverse osmosis membrane treatment means 8; a cleaning agent injection means 10 for injecting a degrading agent for degrading a component of a biofilm generated on a surface of the reverse osmosis membrane into the taken seawater; and an a bactericide injection means 11 for injecting a bactericide for sterilizing a microorganism protected by the biofilm into the taken seawater.
