This fuel-cell system is provided with the following: a fuel-gas supply subsystem that supplies a fuel gas from a fuel supply source to a fuel-cell assembly that has a stack that has a plurality of cells: and a fuel-offgas circulation subsystem that resupplies fuel offgas to the stack. Said fuel-offgas circulation subsystem has the following: a fuel-gas-mix channel via which a fuel-gas mix containing the fuel offgas and the fuel gas flows in the direction of the inner surface of a manifold provided on the stack; and a confluence part, located on one side of the manifold, where the fuel offgas and the fuel gas flow together to produce the aforementioned fuel-gas mix. This improves the efficiency of heat exchange to the fuel offgas and the fuel gas and prevents ice due to moisture in the fuel offgas from flowing into the fuel-cell stack.
