A light emitter is provided with a reflecting electrode, a translucent electrode positioned opposite the reflecting electrode, a light-emitting layer for emitting blue light positioned between the reflecting electrode and the translucent electrode, and a functional layer positioned between the reflecting electrode and the light-emitting layer. The optical thickness of the functional layer is between 428.9 nm and 449.3 nm.
