The system has air chambers outwardly and inwardly sealed between an object, which is to be dammed, and an outer sheath. A seal is constituted with an edge of the system such that air humidity does not enter into the insulating units. Air mass currents are supplied into the individual sealed air chambers at different temperatures and different locations. Air of cool building locations is blown into the sealed air chambers. Insulating units are arranged on a support such that the sealed air chambers are sealed over an outer lining. A gutter is attached between the insulating units.
