PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle with no risk of deteriorating legibility of a specific index image when a pointer image indicates the specific index image.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle has an image display device 10 for displaying vehicle information images including a numeral image 12a (index image 12) displayed with a prescribed array configuration and a pointer image 13 indicating the specific numeral image 12a (index image 12). The pointer image 13 is provided with a basic image 13a constituting a body part of the pointer image 13 and a frame image 14 framing the basic image 13a. When the display device for a vehicle is viewed from an observer side, the basic image 13a is positioned on the observer side more than the numeral image 12a and the numeral image 12a is positioned on the observe side more than the frame image 14. When the pointer image 13 is overlapped with the numeral image 12a, A portion of the frame image 14 overlapped with the numeral image 12a of the frame image 14 is in an invisible state from the observer side. |
