PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to treat conditions associated with amyloid &bgr; (A&bgr;) peptide activity both prophylactically and therapeutically.SOLUTION: A molecule comprises an Fab fragment that specifically binds to human A&bgr; peptide between amino acid positions 13-28 and contains heavy and light chain variable regions of an amino acid sequence in which the Fab fragment comprises a specific sequence. Polyethylene glycol particles are covalently bonded to CDR in the heavy chain variable region of the Fab fragment. |
