PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid construct and a method for producing a nanoparticle using the same.SOLUTION: A nanoparticle comprises a metal ion or a metal precursor and a nucleic acid construct. The nucleic acid construct comprises two or more single-stranded nucleic acids, and the two or more single-stranded nucleic acids comprise ten or more nucleotides and two or more adjacent fragments, respectively. Each of the fragments is complementary to the mutually different fragments and the fragment is hybridized with the substantially complementary fragment, respectively. In the nanoparticle, the nucleic acid construct comprises a plurality of double-stranded fragments and the metal or the metal precursor is linked to a phosphate main chain of the nucleic acid construct or a base of the nucleic acid construct. |
